Turnaround Times
How long does development and scanning take?
We aim to complete orders within 3 days of receiving the film, but this is not guaranteed.
Do you offer rush processing?
Yes.
- Rush: scans within 24 hours of film arrival
- Standard: typically 5–7 days
Can delays happen?
Yes. As a one-person operation, delays may occur due to workload, personal events, or peak periods. If so, we’ll do our best to communicate clearly.
Shipping Film to Us
How should I package my film?
If you’re using a bundle, reuse the original return bag. Otherwise, make a reasonable effort to protect your film during shipping.
How do I ship film back?
Each order includes instructions. You can send using your preferred carrier.

Digital Files & Storage
How long are scans available?
Scans are available for 7 days after delivery.
What happens after 7 days?
Files are automatically deleted from cloud storage. Once deleted, recovery may not be possible, though we can try on a best effort basis.
We strongly recommend downloading and backing up your files immediately.
Community Album
Who can participate?
Participation is available only with paid bundles or subscriptions.
How many photos can I submit?
You can submit up to six photos per roll.
When do I need to submit my photos?
You have 5 days from scan delivery to nominate your images.
How does voting work?

How is the winner chosen?
At the end of the month, the photo with the highest engagement wins.

Yes. The community decides.

Yes, basic edits are fine.

Accounts & Support
Do I need an account?
Accounts are optional, but required to access scan downloads, as files are delivered via your account’s downloads section.
How fast do you respond to emails?
I am one person operation alongside university and other work. Responses may vary, but we’ll do our best to reply as soon as possible.

Where do you ship?
We currently serve EU customers only.
How fast do you process orders?
Orders placed before 3:00 PM CET are usually processed the same day. Orders placed after that are processed the next working day.
Do you provide tracking?
Yes. All outgoing shipments include tracking.
Film Products
What film do you sell?
We sell our own branded colour and black & white films, based on professional grade motion picture and traditional photographic film specifications. We do not resell third party film.
Should I store film in the fridge or freezer?
Yes. For best results, store unused film in the fridge or freezer, especially if you won’t shoot it immediately. Let it return to room temperature before use.
Does the film have an expiration date?
Film is spooled and handled according to manufacturer specifications. Storage conditions after purchase play a major role in long term performance.
Are the canisters DX coded?
Yes. All 35mm rolls are DX-coded for automatic ISO detection.
How should I expose the film?
You can shoot at box speed, or overexpose by 1–2 stops for creative results and better shadow detail.
Unlike digital, shadows cannot be recovered, while highlights usually can.
Can airport X-rays damage my film?
Yes. We strongly recommend hand checks at airports, especially for higher-speed film.

Can I send multiple rolls in one order?
Yes. Just add all required development services to the same order to save on shipping.
Does ECN-2 matter if the film has no remjet?
Yes. Even without remjet, ECN-2 delivers the intended colour, contrast, and tonal response for this film type. We strongly recommend it.
Scanning
What resolution are the scans?
Scans are delivered at 6000 × 4000 pixels, without cropping (JPEGs are cropped by default).
