Frame 500T

Frame500T is a tungsten balanced 500 ISO colour film derived from professional motion picture stock, the same type of film used across many major Hollywood productions. It’s made for situations where light isn’t perfect: night streets, interiors, concerts, neon signs, mixed lighting, and anything handled under practical or artificial sources.

The film delivers smooth grain, a very forgiving exposure range, and colours that stay consistent even when the lighting changes. Highlights roll off gently instead of blowing out, and shadows keep detail instead of collapsing into noise. If you’re new to film, this stock makes night photography far easier than most still photo films. If you’re experienced, you’ll recognise the cinematic look immediately.

Each roll is hand spooled in Italy, fully DX coded, and works in any 35mm camera. For the cleanest colour accuracy and the look this film was designed for, we recommend ECN-2 development. C-41 is also possible if you prefer a still photography workflow.

Frame500T brings real cinema film performance into the 35mm format, easy to shoot, predictable to expose, and ideal for natural-light and low-light photography.
